The tank: Well, I have two display tanks for seahorses. One is setup for the dwarfs and the other for the OR captive bred seahorses. For the dwarf's: Reasontly changed. We moved our dwarfs, Or soon will, to a 10 gallon hex. It has a Biowheel mini with a sponge filter on one end. It is hoped that the filter will not overwelm the dwarfs. Lighting is not the best but we are working on it. We used a very thin covering of an inert gravel and also plan to add a sponge filter in a short while. The Eclipse has been cristal clear for several weeks now. We are moving because it is very difficult to keep the temperature cool enough. I don't think the heater ever had to turn on. Remember seahorses should be kept about 72 degrees, or even a bit cooler. For the OR Seahorses: A more conventional mini reef type setup.
